| I do not disagree, but, on the other hand, Dan Rather should have been fired a long time ago, and Peter Jennings is barely tolerable. Then you get guys like Peter Arnett, who think that advocacy journalism is their duty, and of course there is distrust. As I said, the Post under Bradley exposed itself much too often, and the New York Times, which I read regularly for awhile, has occasional serious glitches. These are dominant media, and there is a sensitivity to the generally unconscious distortions, since they are agenda setting........ |
