LPS5,

Dan Duchardt: Am I off base, or do I see some potential conflicts with the claims made in this credible message and the silly laws of thermodynamics?

I'm afraid my understanding of the universe, such as it is or ever was, tended toward the physical sciences. The biological side of things is best left to others. As for the silly laws of thermodynamics, they certainly apply to the microscopic activity in any organism, but given the right nourishment, exercise, avoidance of disease, etc., longer life may well be possible without violating any physical laws like entropy. Trees seem to have figured it out pretty well. Talk about a sedentary life. Maybe isometrics is the key after all :) (Sorry if you're too young to remember that little craze.)

Of course everyone knows you might live longer if you lived healthier, so the hypsters can't sell that. They have to create phrases like **BECOME BIOLOGICALLY YOUNGER IN 30 DAYS GUARANTEED*** As far as I know, only Merlin could become biologically younger. The rest of us can at best perhaps slow the process of growing older, until the physical scientists figure out how to reverse the flow of time.

Long life sounds good when you are young I guess, but I'm not sure I want to see 120 or 140. Now that money machine Janice posted about.. where do I sign up!!!! LOL
