RECENT DEVELOPMENTS -5/14/97 -MPEG- Sierra Vista acquisition -5/6/97 -MPEG- Shrader named Chief operating officer -4/17/97-MPEG- Creasey named Chief financial officer -4/6/97 -MPEG- Acquires TSA Satellite Antenna Co. -3/31/97 -MPEG- joint marketing agreement with Litton Fibercom -3/24/97 -MPEG- developing DVD authoring system -3/20/97 -MPEG- joint marketing agreement with Digital Equipment Corp. In addition the company reports relationship with foundry approaching completion. Currently shipping DV2100 MPEG 2 board, its applications include Digital Video Broadcast,DVD,Multimedia content creation and Video over telephone networks.Customers include Digital Equipment and Fibercom division of Litton. DVImpact delivery 1Q98, design change is an enhancement they felt essential to meet needs of a large segment of the market [ related to resolution ] which had changed somewhat from when chip was first speced. The chip is supposed to have very high [accurate] performance compared to the competition. The Swedish deals expect news on the Telia deal soon, Lap Power deal does not seem to be progressing, discussions are on going regarding exclusive distribution etc. which the company is balking at. Other Stuff look for Broker 'Road Show' later this month, including Financial info and projections. Status of NASDAQ will be announced then aswell. hope this helps JOHN
