I don't use charts (never have) and I don't day trade anymore, haven't for about 3 years. Did you know many who trade don't use charts...yet they make money?

I just hold positions until I decide to sell. Last trade I did (in the last 60 days) was to buy more Norsat a number of weeks back.

When I buy a stock a number of factors are taken in, sector, future growth, watch how it trades, review past trading, news releases, what people are saying, if what they are doing as a company makes sense to me, etc..

I can't see a chart doing that for you, accurately. I would rather look at the raw numbers. When someone makes a call on a chart reading and it goes wrong, then they have an excuse "why" it went wrong. Kind of funny.

Some people like to quote chart terms just to make them seem "knowledgeable" or it sounds cool.

We went over this TA thing some time back, we also touched on the astrology thing as well. Money and greed does strange things to people.

The main topic I brought up was the astrology baloney.
