BGambler (OT) Adding numerous jobs over 50k salary annually, dropping poverty level below 10% of population, paying off federal debt...I can tell you with NG prices at $5.00/mcf and an outmoded electrical transmission system in many parts of the nation these growth goals are flat out unattainable under any realistic scenario as the infrastructure will not support such an uptick/buildout as envisoned by Gore's released economic plan.........They are "pie-in-the-sky" and not in any way realistically achievable IMO.... Bush would do good to have some nationally certified CPA Firm tote up the cost of all of the programs proposed by Mssr. Gore. Either they cannot be accomplished or we'll need a tax increase to start/enlarge all of these government programs.... Weird to be talking about socialist economic programs after looking at socialism's failures in continental Europe....
