I agree. It appears that the oil industry analysts are no worse than any other analysts. They are still denying inflation but the Dupont news was definitely a kick in the teeth. Bet this is a very active earnings warnings season for everyone except the energy sector. The only companies in energy who will report problems are utilities who buy most of the NG they use to generate power. Looks like many of the drillers and O/S companies will finally report a significant profit this quarter.
