Most people think of Legionnaires disease they think of water, like a cruise ship, or the air conditioning systems of large buildings.But now, scientists at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that for the first time in the United States, the bacterium that causes the deadly disease was transmitted on land, by people working with potting soil in their gardens.
