What is the stake of each of the current owners? And do any of them own enough to be a significant part of that company's valuation?

Buying a cable operator who is also an ATHM owner gives you a double-dip in any profits.

Speaking of cable operators, Cox has had quite a little surge over the past couple of weeks.
