Seems to me you're more than happy to believe innuendo and rumor as long as it shines a poor light on Bush. However, when exact names are used in stories which point a poor light on Gore, you ignore the issue and pretend it's bogus.

Remember a few months ago the media went nuts about Bush and his (alleged) use of cocaine? They didn't have one witness or person who would come forward and claim they saw Bush doing cocaine, yet they ran and ran with the story for weeks. Contrast that with the report on newsmax.com today regarding Gore and his repeated drug use. A former classmate has come forward and given his name as a witness to Gore's repeated drug use, as well as his across the board failing grades. Yet big media have completely ignored the story. Ever wonder why? You would think if they were going to be fair they would at least follow up on the story and question the person. How much you want to bet the story will be completely ignored by the mainstream media?

News reports should all be taken with a certain grain of salt, until at least verified by 2 or more different sources of information. Do you think the media will follow up on the racist inferences detailed in the secret service complaints? I wouldn't hold my breath.

Live with your head in the sand if you must and pretend that everything negative reported about Al Gore is a lie. That's probably what I would do to if I were brainwashed by the union to vote for Gore and only Gore.
