ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sep 8, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- World business leaders in global mobile communications will come together to learn of industry developments, exchange ideas and showcase the latest in mobile technologies at the Personal Communications Industry Association's PCIA GlobalXChange, September 26 - 29 at Chicago's McCormick Place.
Long considered a leading trade show and exposition of the wireless industry, this year's PCIA GlobalXChange promises to be the best yet, with more than 250 companies representing the global convergence industry exhibiting here for the first time. Last year's show attracted 18,000 participants from over 65 countries and included nearly 300 reporters. This year more than 20 companies are expected to make news announcements at the show.
