Hi there:

Your sister and Merry and everybody else better realize that Nothing is for nothing. If the manufacturer or distributor or Retailer has costs they get passed on to the customers one way or another.. Who else is going to pay???

Meantime Merry it's a little bit of heat that you need to dry out the moisture that may be lurking where you can't see it or reach it. Not too much just a little. The malfunctions are probably caused by little short circuiting connections somewhere. Blowing dry air through the inside is the easiest way rather than physically attacking the innards with a duster, or something.

Alternatively they're not expensive to replace completely as was said.Sometimes the easiest way to get somebody to give you something is to offer to pay for it rather than demand a warranty freeby. My old physics teacher in High School was fond of saying "there's more ways of killing a pig than choking it to death with butter.

Cheers
Trev
