went to the mall yesterday and looked at sunglasses. Saw the new Romeos, personally i think they look kinda gawdy. i tried different models and brands and finally couldnt resist grabbing a pair of black e-wires. the reasons: they fit nice, look great and stay on no matter what. i snowboard a lot and remember a couple of especially bad crashes where i'd lift my head from a hole in the snow and my good old m-frames would still be on. most of my friends also think Oakley has the best product out there and that it's not a fad but a well established brand. however i hope they can come up with some killer new models soon. i bought a small amount of stock with "risk capital" at 12 and change and i'm still holding on.
