Scumbria Re: Benchmarks I guess it might be a good idea to wait for real systems before we make a conclusive judgment on P4 performance. And the same is true for unavailable Athlon systems. Can you agree with this? On another subject, I think the expectation that P4 will only be available with RDRAM is not correct. Intel has clearly stated that it is looking at other memory types. The real question is when the "other" memory support will appear for the P4. The P4 introduction will not for long, or perhaps not even from the first day, depend on RDRAM.
