I have spent a lot of years studying CPU performance. It is challenging for me to speculate on the performance of P4, given that it is a very non-traditional architecture.

If I'm right, I will look very smart. If I'm wrong, I will look like an idiot.

Either way, Elmer will jump on my case. ;^)
