As for Browsers, I use Proxiweb, which supports SSL technology, and Qualcomm's Eudora Web Browser, which is much faster, but is all in HTML and does not support SSL technology. I can trade using Proxiweb. Accessing SI and posting is simple using both browsers, which are free.

I also use the Yahoo Instant Messenger for the Palm, which works great.

Yahoo is very pro Palm Pilot. I can retrieve all my mail from my PC using Yahoo Mail on my Palm.
Verizon gives you an EMail program, called Hand Mail, for free, which is OK. It works.
There is a lot of free great software for the Palm.
You can get a PalmIIIx for about $220 and Verizon will send you a Novatel Wireless Modem for $240. After that, it is $24.95 a month, unlimited access. The Service has always been up and running, even during the strike, as long as I've been using it(over a Year).
I subscribe to the Peter Lynch view of investing where I buy Stocks whose products I use and view as revolutionary:

I bought PUMA at $36 after they bought Proxiweb. Puma did top out at $201 before it split. We had a gas on the PUMA thread:

That stock was an incredible run, the quintessential momentum stock. I use to short it too during corrections.
