Hi Bernard,

Yes... I have followed STXN for very long time now.
(Bought some more today at $23/sh.)

Yes... STXN is working on a next-generation product (not
really an upgrade to Altium since its based on their new
"velocity" chipset and Altium is not). As you know,
Altium is a very popular OC-3 (155 Mbps) P-P product
which offers very high spectral efficiency. The next
product (which I gather is sort-of an "upgrade" to
the Altium) is due out in the next 3 months and will
be an OC-6 (311 Mbps) P-P product... this will soon
be followed, perhaps 3-9 months from now, by an OC-12
(622 Mbps) P-P product based on their velocity chipset...
then, about 9-15 months from now, they'll produce a
P-MP version of this OC-12 product. I assume that all
these new products will be at least as spectrally
efficient as the Altium product. Thus, the next 12
months should prove to be exciting times for STXN.

Yes... STXN can market Ensemble's P-MP products. STXN is an
investor in Ensemble, having led a round of financing for
them (other investors included Intel). I don't know the
details of the agreement... but I assume that STXN will
continue marketing Ensemble's products for quite awhile.
I understand that the Ensemble offering... like many (all?)
P-MP products on the market... has much lower aggregate
capacity than the OC-12 P-MP product that STXN has planned.
I think these lower-capacity P-MP products will continue
to have a valuable market niche even after higher-capacity
versions are introduced.
