Semi,

1. I no longer hold any LRCX, nor would it be my first choice for adding more shares in the sector even at its current price. I haven't had any Lam for months.

Both CEOs strike me as open and honest. Thus the discrepancy caught my attention. Faubert just isn't encountering LRCX CMP in the field. Yet Bagley thinks he's going to take 20% market share. Until I can reconcile the views, I'll just stay away.

I don't know the answer. But there are many opportunities which don't have this type of issue.

2. Momentum evaluations. The comment from the conference call that had me somewhat concerned was that some customers may see delays in getting the latest and greatest Momentum.
This may result in Ebara, AMAT or even, god forbid, LRCX getting in the door for an evaluation first, or, when they wouldn't have otherwise had the opportunity.

This is not a fact. This is just a concern which I readily concede, may never come to pass.

Have a good weekend,
Ian.
