I live a couple of miles outside the Beltway, so I don't qualify for the info they dish out if you live inside the Beltway.

Bush is far and away more popular with men, Gore is way ahead with women. I am an anomaly, I guess, I am voting for Bush and detest Gore. Virginia is conservative, so Bush will probably prevail here, but the states with the biggest populations are liberal.

Probably the deciding factor among undecideds will be the debates. If Bush doesn't gain points there, I guess he's done. That's the prevailing wisdom, and I agree. I expect to spend election night in bed curled up in a fetal position, just like the last two.-ng-
