Thread: Anyone look into Looking Glass Networks (www.lglass.net) or Telseon yet?

From what I see, the traditional carriers are screwed with either multimode fiber, or OC-48 equipment deployment that limits the last mile capacity that can be delivered.

My background is in sales for a major carrier, selling ds-n through OC-48 to ISPs, CLECs and resellers. From what I experienced first hand, the CLECs and ISPs are facing a total bandwith bottleneck running into carrier hotels and IXC pops. I feel that the next generation of CLECs as well as the current is goign to start requesting mostly SONET OC-3s through OC-48s the way they are currently requesting DS-3 services. Therefore, what the carriers have in place now is not going to be able to meet demand going forward.

Just my speculation, anyone else have any thoughts?
