Another lurker: Over the 2 years I have had a subscription for Market Gems I have learned a lot and at the beginning also profited financially. I have great respect for Jenna and was often impressed by her sincerity and generosity.
My observation is that the change in Jenna's and the thread's approach to trading towards more and more momentum and short term trading oriented trading has lead to more confusion, diminished returns, and an increase of claiming positive calls "after the fact". It is very difficult to get a clear picture which "calls" have worked, what is just a "watch", which stocks are very short term, short term, day trades etc...
I remember the time when Jenna did not like "shorting" or made recommendations for a longer term hold. Obviously the market has changed and some of the developments on this thread and at Market Gems/Pristine reflect the different trading environment.
Because I am not a day trader I was hoping that I could profit from Jenna's recommendations for stocks to hold for a 2 to 4 week period and/or 2 to 3 month period. Unfortunately this expectation has not been realized. It is impossible to get a clear picture what stocks Jenna holds in her longer term portfolios. Sometimes an advancing stock is mentioned on the thread and Jenna's reply is that she holds it in her's or her husband's portfolio but it was never mentioned before and it does not become clear when it was accumulated or when it would be sold. My suggestion is that Market Gems would create 2 portfolios - one for a 2 to 4 week and one for 2 to 3 month holding period, which would be commented on and updated on a weekly basis. Those would be stocks which would adhere to Market Gems premise of having strong fundamentals and excellent upswing potential. For example "the Gorilla Portfolio" allows you to track the performance ot its stock selection.
Unfortunately as a Mac user I was unable to participate in the free trial of the "trading room" or to subscribe to it now. So I hope that Jenna has enough time and energy left to initiate a "medium term" portfolio.
Best wishes
