Did you read that Salamon Smith Barney report? A must read.

I would love to hear some impressions and arguments from others about this report (posted earlier).

Read the SSB report in its entirety.
I have to admit I don't yet understand all of the technical details. But the following caught my eye:

1. They expect storage in general to outperform even analysts' high expectations.

2. The adoption rate of SAN is even greater than that of NAS (fig. 4).

3. NTAP's revenue & earnings growth are increasing at an accelerated pace in the past 2-3 qtrs.

4. SSB has assigned a forward P/E of 196, with a target of $120/share. That's a helluva P/E; the PEG at 3.7 or so, is also pretty high.

5. New products coming, including high-end filer.

I'm glad I own it, wish I had more. Good for the long haul. Sure is richly valued.
