I can't believe that this is anything other than an "urban legend," lots of which abound.
Does anybody believe that aircraft aren't bombarded at all levels of flight, particularly during critical low level approach and departure, by multitudinous waves all across the spectrums, being generated by tv, radio, ham, cellular, media, satellite, ac, dc, mixmaster, and every other wave known to mankind, in huge quantities that make a laptop look like a penlight-powered flashlight (oh, I forgot to include that).
Give us a break, everybody, there's so much radio stuff everywhere we go that if it was visible, you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. |
