I wasn't so lucky.

Although I must admit that when I saw JOnes interviewed on KO nation talking about how he is his own promoter for this fight, I remembered that I can't stand watching Jones' extravaganzas. I suppose you had to sit through some opening rap acts, as well as a cheese-filled entrance with Jones showing off his own "musical" skills.

Along those lines, I had no idea that boxing television demographics would support the "in living color" style show KO Nation starring Ed Lover and featuring the Solid Gold Dancers! But then again, I watched half an hour of the MTV video music awards this week and had to turn it off when I couldn't identify a single nominee. Time flies.

IMO, the best move Jones could make (perhaps the only move that would give him a place in boxing history) is to go UP in weight. Win, lose or draw, a Jones/Holyfield fight has the potential to be the biggest PPV event ever.
