I was thinking last night about the "COST" of doing business as a daytrader... everyone should now these costs... what amazes me is that for basically nominal numbers per year, one can make a wonderful living learning to day trade... if your dedicated to becoming a Professional, in this field....and forgeting the stereotypical commercials you all see on TV about the frazeled daytrader... i believe this is a great way to make a substantial living for you and your families... we are not scalping for 1/8ths and quarters... we are really using Jennas wonderful stock selections, along with prudent trading techniques to make a living each and everyday... the costs associated with this profession are as follows.. 1.---COST OF A CABLE MODEM OR DSL... 2.---COST OF REAL TIME CHARTS AND QUOTES...DEPENDS ON YOUR VENDOR...LIKE QCHARTS 3.---THE TRADING ROOM... 4..---THE COSTS OF YOUR COMPUTER AND ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES.. 5...MOST IMPORTANT IS YOUR TIME???? SO IF YOU ADD UP THE ANNUAL TOTAL COSTS..HARD FIXED COSTS...AND WHAT YOU FEEL IS A REALISTIC SALARY FOR YOUR SELF WEEKLY... DIVIDE THOSE NUMBERS BY 52, AND THEN DAILY... this will give you an idea of how much money it takes to put the key into the door of YOUR business every day... and then as i've have said early on in the room...have a journal of all your trades...and the profits and losses each day...each week... you'll know soon enough if this is the profession you want to be in for the rest of your life or not... and please...listen to me...you must continue to read on the site at Pristine...specifically Market Gems trading strategies and tactics...these are must reads..and re-reads...drum them into your heads..because they will become second nature to you during the hectic action of the daily forum... anyway...It's Sunday....FOOTBALL SEASON...
