Diana G. re DEMAND, Yes I am somewhat concerned with that variable as well. IMO with OPEC producing at capacity, demand becomes THE key variable. Yes, I'm worried about that too. Still I am getting some really strange signals from the market place here. Signals that taken together indicate to me that the markets are anticipating, not recession, but recovery. It is counter-intuitive, it makes no sense, and is utterly impossible, but still these signals cannot be denied at this point. They are saying recession is NOT just around the corner. If it is it will ultimately be a highly inflationary one. Perhaps you could give me a simple explanation to this phenomenon? A simple answer from a not so simple girl would be refreshing.
