To All:

I have visited a few web sites hoping to get some idea of what "inputs" are being fed to NNs, and what "outputs" are generated for equities trading applications. I find a lot of words promoting various models, but if there is a fundamental description, I have missed it.

I'm wondering if someone could respond with a brief description of the approach. Is it time series price data, price and volume, traditional indicators like moving averages, bollinger bands, obv, and the like? Are the outputs simply "buy" and "sell", or is there more to it than that?

I'm not looking for an exhaustive answer, just a basic idea of what is being done.

TIA

Dan
