My table won't even seat 12. And I have no idea how I got into this. I am terrified, and very relieved that you are sharing it with me. At the dinner we went to before the trip- the menu was champagne and paté and some sort of gelled terrine thing. ANd a salad of greens and pears, nuts, French bread slices. Then a pork roast, baby white and purple potatoes, and green beans. A cheese course shipped in from France. Two kinds of homemade sorbet and fresh fruit. Several wines for each course. Right. I can do this. I just need a caterer.
