that's the only suggestion i had for you. i know exactly what sound you're talking about, too. gets annoying. the norton event you turned off is one i have too. i don't mind it there.

i wish i had the right answer for you, carolyn. we'll hang back and wait for the others to respond.

btw, if it's only in si, why not ask bob, or whoever it is that they have fielding these sort of questions now. it's possible that it is specific to si.
