Mark:

I don't know what to think at this point. Last month I watched a stock I was interested in (ADAC) tank from 22 to 16 just before earnings, then it reported one cent over the estimate and raced up to 24. I missed the boat and only got a couple of option contracts on the way up. That will net me only about $500.

I am thinking seriously right now of selling a naked put on FEET for the December 22.5 strike price. I could get 6.375 for it, which means if the stock is put to me, I buy it at an effective price of 16.125 (only 0.125 above where I got out). If it is not put to me, I walk away with $6,375 for ten contracts. What's wrong with this scenario? Am I missing something? The only bad thing is if FEET is below 16 next December. I have to believe it will do much better than that.
