That article by Futrelle doesn't deserve the time to write a point-by-point response. I will, however, take the time to mention that we shouldn't be surprised that the media would publish the leading statement, "many of them have no idea what they're talking about," without following it up with, "so due your own due diligence because doing so will make it really easy to see who knows their stuff and who doesn't."
