Again, point by point: I predict that "bad memory problem" you're so excited about will have more of an effect on ComputerWorld and InfoWorld magazine subscription renewal rates than it will on Sun's sales. The typo speaks for itself. FWIW, I certainly would blame Ford if they knowingly made unsuitable tires the standard issue on their vehicles, and then hid the mistake when it began having an effect. (Disclosure: FWIW, I am an ex Ford employee, but that was a long time ago.) To get back on topic: I don't think Sun realized EBay wouldn't routinely apply OS patches as they became available; that's remedied now. True. If you want to run something that's only available on Windows, then you're stuck with Windows. Ain't monopolies grand? The article said the user interface would change in Whistler. That's enough to conclude training will be needed. Or are you of the "sink or swim" school of computing? I've actually had quite a bit of experience with Microsoft and their products. Remember MultiPlan? Chart? I go back further than that. All JMHO.
