MARKET TALK-HK: Short-Selling Falls Slightly 0835 [Dow Jones] Short-selling in Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008) lifted total short-selling turnover last Friday; However, total volume still low with only $210.1 million worth of shares or 2.7% of total shorted, against $212.5 million on Thursday. Shorted volume in most counters remained steady Friday suggesting big players' reluctance to commit heavily amid directionless trend in HSI. Trader expects short-selling to remain thin in upcoming sessions.
