Apple in the media-- Nice one pager in Worth devoted to the new optical mouse. Simply how cool it is. Local Berkeley paper mentions that Berkeley High received a one million dollar grant which went for G-4s and Gateways for a multimedia lab. Hundreds of computers. With picture of kids in front of G-4s and Apple displays. Sooner or later most schools are going to be equipped this way and Apple will be in a lot of them. I bet the back-to-school selling season is going well for Apple. ComputerWare has an ad in the sports section of the Chronicle showing off the whole Apple desktop line, including $799 iMacs in stock. Circuit Cities Sunday flier leads off with Apple returns on the cover. Featuring the $999 iMacs. Good vibes still in the air, IMO. Marc
