Taiwan's Chipmakers Report No Major Quake Damage
TAIPEI (Dow Jones)--Taiwan's two major chipmakers have reported Monday no damage from a 6.2 magnitude earthquake that jolted the island Sunday.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSM), the world's largest dedicated chip foundry, and United Microelectronics Corp. (2303.TW), Taiwan's No. 2 chipmaker, said there had been no significant impact from the tremor and no financial losses.
