This is a duplicate message board of Ameriquest-AMQT(formally AQS). Since no one is keeping it up, I will take over and moderate it in the linux vane, although AMQT is specialized in SCO Unix. The problem with specializing in SCO Unix, is that the company limits itself to the SCO customers. Revenue is now around $70 million/year at AMQT. If AMQT starts to distribute all the customized versions of Linux, how much more revenue can they get involved? Smart partnering is definitely needed to get into those markets. Shouldn't AMQT also get involved with Solaris and BTL(Bell Telephone Labs) Unix or even AIX and open source? We will let all of you Unix enthusiasts sound it out?
