Asian Star Subsidary Launches Marketing of China Space Souvenir Products

HONG KONG, Sep 11, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Asian Star Development, Inc. (NASDAQ
OTC BB:ASTV), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Asian Star Technology
Development Limited (ASTD), announced the launch of its marketing program for
the highly coveted China Space Souvenir Products. The unique Products are now
available through its web site : chinaspacesouvenirs.com and in over
sixty (60) jewelry and book stores in Hong Kong. Currently, the web site is only
in the Chinese language, with the English version expected within approximately
2 weeks. Our Joint Venture partners in this project are the Chinese Academy of
Space Technology (CAST) and the China Space Foundation South Agency (CSF).

The merchandise includes authentic, limited edition articles carried in the
cabin of the first Chinese Space Ship during its maiden voyage into space orbit
in late 1999. The articles are accompanied by Certificates of Authenticity from
the Chinese Government. The projected sale revenues from the Products are
approximately US$8 million.
