<<<I think that SCADA can give a decent incremental boost to G* (anything helps now), but since (I think) each modem won't be using the G* system very often on a daily basis (a couple of 1-2 minute bursts of data per day?), we'll need 10,000s to make a meaningful impact on G*'s MOUs. (10,000 * 2 MOU per day = 600,000 MOU per month).

Sorry if my assumptions are incorrect; any help / corrections much appreciated>>>

Michael,

I think that SCADA could amount to more than you think. Oil companies may need incremental data many times per day for certain uses. Each download could rack up a minimum 1 minute charge. Also, they will have needs to do system maintenance for the software routinely that could amount to more MOU's. Oil companies won't blink an eye at this usage since it provides them with valuable data they need and is cheaper than "two men in a truck" driving to remote locations to do checks.

Remember, there are many, many potential SCADA uses other than Oil Companies.

I'm just as excited about SCADA potentials as IFN. We will be hearing a lot about this beginning next quarter.
