I had expected to see more discussion of the Wen Ho Lee story here. Since no one else is talking about it, I will. <g>

Looks like he will be released today, after pleading guilty to 1 of 59 charges against him, and getting sentenced to time served. The gov't will drop the other 58 charges.

His choice was to fight the charges while being locked up in solitary confinement, or to let the FBI "win" and plead guilty to a charge that probably couldn't have been proven in court. Since he plead guilty to a charge, he can't sue for false imprisonment, lying FBI agents, or anything else.

The strong arm of Government wins again. Screw truth or justice, let's not embarass the FBI.
