Remember me mentioning NXTV when it got hacked down to 39? Well it's moving right back up now because DSL Equipment is in strong demand throughout the world. It is important to recognize that Analyst's are often wrong about their recommendations. I sometimes wonder if they aren't wrong on purpose to set up their own buying opportunities?

Next Level gets $80 million Korean order

ROHNERT PARK, Calif., Sept 11 (Reuters) - High-speed communications equipment maker Level Communications Inc. (NasdaqNM:NXTV - news) said on Monday that it had won an order worth more than $80 million from South Korea's Hansol Electronics.

The company said in a statement that Hansol, an electronics maker and distributor, was buying Next Level's very high-speed digital subscriber line and asymetric digital subscriber line systems along with N3 TV set-top boxes.

The equipment lets telecommunications service providers offer digital video, high-speed data and telephony services over conventional copper telephone lines.

The deal is valued at more than $80 million dollars. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.

Next Level shares were up $5-5/8 at $62-7/8. The shares have fallen from $91 in late August, hit by doubts about revenues from one of Next Level's biggest customers, Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE:Q - news).
