I think that's the exact reason for the comments we heard out of the fed today...sounded to me like: "don't worry be happy" "buy the dip please" "productivity is so great that we don't have to worry about inflation" "who cares if we don't measure inflation correctly" "the bubble is gone out of the market" the only problem is it's all b.s. this market is a bubble, a pure pyramid scam. everyone betting that no one will sell for years. that the baby boomers will keep dumping money in the market...buying index funds and ibm garbage bloated stocks. paying pe's of 50 for ge...so sad... bambs
