PRI Automation fell 26 percent in post-market activity, after the chip equipment maker warned
investors after the markets closed that revenue would miss expectations.

The Billerica, Mass based company said it expects lower-than-expected revenue of $84 million for the
fourth quarter, which ends on Sept. 30. The company made $88.9 million in revenue in the previous
quarter, and $41.9 million for the year ago fourth quarter.

PRI attributed the shortfall to manufacturing and supply chain
problems. The company also expects net income to come in slightly
above breakeven, excluding charges, compared to a profit of 38 cents
a share in the previous quarter. Wall Street expected the company to
make 52 cents a share for the quarter, the consensus estimate of 13
analysts surveyed by First Call/Thomson Financial.

In after-hours trading the shares fell $11.25 to $31.44 on a volume of
81,500, making it the largest after-hours loser on the Nasdag in
percentage terms. During the day, the stock fell 94 cents to $42.69.
