Compaq is (besides Gateway) AMDs strongest customer and they are selling AMD 1 GHz systems for months now. Their Intel/AMD system mix is currently at ca. 50% (retail only), they even have a business AMD laptop available. And Duron systems are also coming shortly (no wishful thinking, this was confirmed by a Compaq representative in a CNet article some weeks ago). Andreas
