I think you get a more valid lower (support) trendline for the NDX if you use the same days, but the bottom of the bodies (closes). If you do, you'll see that yesterdays close is the third point on the line, and would indicate that support failed today. Can someone tell me where max-pain is for the NDX?

I'm not a big believer in trendlines, although I pay more attention to them on the indexes than for individual stocks where I believe horizontal R/S bands have more validity.
