program trading/scalping... to what extent does program tradng appear in the market? I'm aware of programs that kick in for example when a new high is reached, to buy, or on extreme moves - but how many programs are out there that just sit there makign the spread all day long, does your firm have one? How much do those engines suck out of the market? MfN
