Tench the problem Itanic faces is the Customers will be leaving it before it even comes out. Probably a lot more than what is going on in those x86-64 labs. But heck, with the "build it and they will come" philosophy, Sledgehammer will never need actual 64-bit OS support once it's released. 64-bit OS support will eventually come around "once customers really need it." Tenchusatsu 7 years counting, stuck below 800Mhz, and won't run linux like the previous stepping. Maybe just 1 more year and they have it running at 800Mhz, by then Sledehammer will be at 2+Ghz with MP on single die. Milo
