Cpn, The abscence of a coherent energy policy from Clnton/Gore Administration for the last eight years is really starting to bite home now. They've created quite a mess IMO in both the energy and power markets. Back in 1998-1999 when 100,000 oil field workers lost their jobs when oil was $10/bbl you heard not a "peep" from Washington,D.C. despite pleas for help.

Those workers are now gone lost to the energy industry.

The Administration of course immediately jumped up when 5,000 steelworkers lost their jobs in 1998-1999 and sought countervailing duties in order to protect their patronage cronies in the Steelworkers Unions.

Well sow the wind, reap the whirlwind, here it comes....
