I now see that the software is downloadable from their site, this suggests the latter. But I imagine its still possible for the ILECs to bundle this software with the modems if necessary. Anyone else get the feeling we may start to see some consolidation in the DSL equipment space. Westell needs a company like Netopia with products focused on the business customer. Any thoughts on Westell's SDSL strategy? thanks. fwiw jeremic
