thanks for the extensive info, GBG. Sounds to me like Intel is working on a MAC/PHY using Marvell PHY technology. Not quite clear to me though: Are you free to sell any of the product developed at Marvell under this contract on the open market at component level only? I mean if you do a quad (and slices it in half for a dual, a natural development...), can you work with other vendors? The NIC market really needs a dual, we all know that.
