Dataram First With Gold Memory Qualification for Intel's Newest SKA4 4-Way Server Platform
PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 2000--Dataram Corporation (Nasdaq:DRAM - news) a leading provider of gigabyte-class memory for high-performance network servers, today became the first independent memory manufacturer to achieve CMTL(SM) (Computer Memory Test Labs) Gold certification status for it's 128MB, 256MB and 512MB memory modules for Intel's® new SKA4 server.

The Gold memory module certification program is needed for a number of reasons, but the most important is PCB structural integrity. Gold certification requires that the PCBs be tested and pass the stringent IPC class 2 specifications which includes cross sections, material thickness verifications and electrical characteristics.

The SKA4 is an optimized platform for a variety of E-Business applications. It is a 4-way multiprocessor server, with high scalability and availability. This new Intel Server supports a maximum memory capacity of 16GB and has 16 DIMM slots.

Dataram is offering 3 capacities, all Registered, ECC, 100MHz SDRAM DIMM modules. DTM60089 (128MB), DTM60287 (256MB), and DTM60091 (512MB) are available immediately. Modules are also available from distributors Wyle Systems, Arrow ICP Group, Avnet Inc. and Pioneer Standard Electronics Inc.

``The Gold qualification for our modules ensures the consistency, reliability and integrity of our products. CMTL performs rigorous tests with equipment and procedures which are defined by Intel to guarantee quality products that will be compatible with specific platforms. Dataram recently received the highest CMTL award earlier in the year for having the highest number of Intel® qualifications industry wide,'' states Stephanie See, Dataram's product manager.
