SETO Announces Receiving Purchase Orders for Multimedia Products From Pineapple
Computer Stores in Malaysia
BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y., Sep 12, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SETO Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB-SETO) today announced that it has received orders for the
SETO's Multi Media Set Top Box for Internet access without a computer via a TV and MP3 Players.
The value of this first order from Pineapple Computer Stores to SETO is $340,000, which is to be shipped within three months. This is for the initial
introduction of SETO products in conjunction with the signing of the MOU on September 6, 2000 and the launching of SETO products through the
Pineapple Computer Superstores in the major cities of Malaysia.
The forecast for the first year sales for these two products alone is $1.7 million, which could double or triple when new products are introduced over
the next few months.
Presently there are 9 Superstores in some of the major cities in Malaysia, such as, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Seremban, Ipoh and Melaka. Pineapple
Computer expects to increase the outlets to 20 by the end of this year.
SETO and Pineapple Computer are working very closely to bring all the SETO Telecommunication and Multi Media products to the people of Malaysia,
